St. Ambrose Orthodox Mission
Orthodox Christianity in the Mackinac Straits of Northern Michigan
ABOUT OUR MISSION
St. Ambrose Orthodox Mission is an Orthodox Christian community which gathers in the Mackinac Straits area of northern Michigan. Founded in July of 2023 AD, we seek to bring the fullness of the Gospel of Christ to the North.

We are part of the Chicago and Mid-America Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR). Our worship is structured according to the Russian liturgical tradition and is conducted in English with some Church Slavonic. All are welcome and invited to attend!

All are welcome.
Parking Instructions
Services are hosted in Fr. Dmitri's garage located at 199 Bell Street in Saint Ignace.
We have an agreement with the United Methodist church to use 10 of their parking spots, which is in addition to the home's driveway, which could accommodate about 6 cars.
If you park at the parking lot, simply walk eastward along Bell St. to reach the garage. The entrance to the worship space is on the south side of the garage.

A picture of the door entering the garage is shown below.
